Your clients already pay someone for hosting

If you build or manage websites, every client needs hosting. When you send them to another company, you lose a recurring sale, and you still get the call when their site goes down, without access to fix it.

Reseller hosting closes that gap. You buy a block of server resources from us and divide it into separate hosting accounts, one per client. Each client gets their own login, email, and files. You decide what to charge, and the invoice carries your business name. A site you built once keeps paying you every year it stays online.

How white-label reseller hosting works

White-label means your clients see your brand, not ours.

  • Your brand on the client's control panel. Every plan includes WHM and a brandable control panel, so clients see your business, not ours.
  • Your own packages. Use WHM to create hosting packages with the disk, email, and site limits you choose, then price each one however you like.
  • Your own billing. Invoice clients through your own system, or automate signups, invoices, and suspensions with WHMCS, available as an add-on to any plan.

Need more client accounts? Add them from your control panel in blocks of 10.

Your plan price stays the same whether you host one client or fill every account slot, so each client you add improves your margin.

Start reselling in four steps

  1. Pick a plan sized for the clients you have now. You can move up as you add more.
  2. Set up your brand. Add your logo, and create the hosting packages you'll sell.
  3. Create client accounts. Each client gets a separate login, so one client's problem stays in their account.
  4. Bring existing sites across. If your clients are hosted elsewhere, open a ticket and we'll help you plan the move.

Who handles what

Reselling works best when the split is clear from day one.

You handle your clients: sales, pricing, billing, and first-line questions such as "how do I set up email on my phone?"

We handle the infrastructure: servers, hardware, network, server software updates, and security patching. Your clients contact you, not us. When something is beyond what you can fix, or it's on the server side, you open a ticket with us and we work it through with you.

What each client account includes

Each client gets a full hosting account of their own:

  • Their own control panel login, branded with your business
  • Unlimited email accounts on their domain, with webmail
  • A free SSL certificate
  • One-click installs of WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and 400+ other apps through Softaculous
  • PHP 8.1 to 8.3, MySQL databases with phpMyAdmin, Python, Perl, and Ruby
  • Cron jobs, SFTP, password-protected folders, and hotlink protection
  • Spam and virus filtering on email, and Cloudflare support for speed and protection

Our page for agencies covers the wider agency workflow, including domains and email for clients.

Reseller hosting questions

What is reseller hosting?

Reseller hosting lets you buy hosting resources in bulk from a provider and sell them to your own clients as separate hosting accounts, under your brand. You set the prices, create the accounts, and bill clients directly. The provider runs the servers. It suits web designers, agencies, and IT consultants who want recurring income from the sites they build.

What is white-label reseller hosting?

White-label means your clients see your brand instead of the provider's. With our reseller plans, the control panel can carry your logo and colors and your invoices carry your business name, so the hosting looks like your own service. Make sure your own terms of service cover the hosting you sell, since your clients' agreement is with you.

Reseller hosting vs shared hosting: what is the difference?

Shared hosting is one account for your own websites. Reseller hosting lets you create many separate accounts, each with its own login, limits, and email, and hand them to different clients. If you only manage sites yourself, a multi-site shared plan may be enough. If clients need their own access and invoices, choose reseller hosting.

Does reseller hosting come with WHMCS?

WHMCS is available as an add-on to any reseller plan. It automates the business side of reselling: client signups, invoices, payment reminders, and suspending unpaid accounts. You can also use a WHMCS license you already own, or bill clients through any invoicing tool you prefer.

Can I sell domains to my clients too?

You can register domains through ResellerBytes on your clients' behalf and point them at the accounts you create. Domain prices for every extension are on our domain pricing page.
