Billing support

Find an invoice, pay a renewal, or sort out a failed payment. You can do all of it in the client area.

ResellerBytes support guides

Finding your invoices

Log in to the client area at portal.resellerbytes.com and go to Billing, then My Invoices. Each invoice shows its status, the due date and the services it covers, and you can download a copy for your records.

All prices and invoices are in USD. Current plan prices are shown on each product page, and domain prices are on domain pricing.

To change the name, company or address on your invoices, update your details in the client area under your profile. If you need a past invoice reissued with new details, open a ticket with the Billing Department.

How renewals work

Hosting and domains renew at the end of each billing term. An invoice for the renewal is issued in your client area before the due date, and we email it to you. Pay it from the client area before it's due to keep the service running without a break.

Renewal prices can differ from first-term prices, especially for domains. Domain pricing lists the registration, renewal and transfer price for each extension.

Payment methods

The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout and on each invoice in the client area. If you'd like to pay another way, ask in a ticket with the Billing Department before the invoice is due.

If a payment fails

A failed payment doesn't end your service on the spot. The steps are:

  1. The invoice stays unpaid and we email you.
  2. Pay it from the client area with the same or a different method.
  3. If an invoice stays unpaid past its due date, the service may be suspended. Pay the invoice, and open a ticket if the service doesn't come back.
  4. Services left unpaid for a long time may be terminated, and their data deleted. The Terms of Service explain how this works.

Domains work differently. An expired domain enters grace and redemption periods, and restoring it during redemption costs more than a renewal. The periods and fees vary by extension. For .com, each period is 30 days. See domain pricing for the fees.

If your bank declined the payment, check with them first. A decline can come from an international transaction limit or a bank security check.

Upgrades and downgrades

To change plans, open a ticket with the Billing or Sales Department and tell us which plan you want. We'll confirm what the change costs before we make it.

Canceling a service

To stop a service from renewing, open it in the client area and request cancellation, or ask in a ticket with the Billing Department.

Canceling hosting removes your files, databases and email at the end of the service. Download a backup first.
