Submit a support ticket

A ticket links your request to your account, so our team can see which service you mean and keep every reply in one thread.

How to open a ticket

A ticket links your request to your account so every reply stays in one thread.

1. Log in

Sign in to the client area at portal.resellerbytes.com.

2. Open a ticket

Go to Support, then Open Ticket.

3. Pick a department

Choose Support, Billing, Sales or General Inquiry.

4. Link the service

Select the hosting account or domain the ticket is about, if asked.

5. Describe the issue

Use a subject line that names the problem. Attach screenshots if you have them.

6. Submit and track

You get a confirmation email. Follow replies in the client area or by email.

  1. Log in to the client area at portal.resellerbytes.com.
  2. Go to Support, then Open Ticket.
  3. Choose the department that matches your question (see below).
  4. Select the service or domain the ticket is about, if asked.
  5. Write a subject line that names the problem, like "Email not sending from info@yourdomain.com".
  6. Choose a priority, describe the issue, attach any screenshots and submit.

You'll get an email confirming the ticket. Replies arrive by email, and you can follow the thread in the client area under Support, then My Support Tickets.

Can't log in? Use "Forgot Password?" on the login page. You can also open a ticket without logging in by entering your name and email address on the ticket form.

Choose the right department

Picking the right department sends your ticket to the team that handles that work.

Support Department

Websites, email, DNS, SSL and moves from another host.

Billing Department

Invoices, payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds.

Sales Department

Plan questions, upgrades and custom requirements.

General Inquiry

Anything that does not fit the other departments.

Picking the right department sends your ticket to the people who handle that kind of request.

  • Support Department: websites, email, DNS, SSL and migrations
  • Billing Department: invoices, payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds
  • Sales Department: plan questions, upgrades and custom requirements
  • General Inquiry: anything that doesn't fit the others

What to include

A complete first message is the fastest route to a fix. For how-to questions, check the knowledge base first.

  • The domain name or service affected
  • What you were trying to do and what happened instead
  • The exact error message, or a screenshot of it (JPG, GIF or PNG)
  • When it started, and whether anything changed around then (a plugin update, a DNS change, a new device)
  • What you've already tried

If we need to log in to something on your behalf, such as a WordPress admin, we'll ask in the ticket. Never post passwords in a ticket subject line.

For how-to questions, check the knowledge base first.

Setting priority

Choose the priority that reflects real impact. It helps us order the queue — not the care we take with your ticket.

High

Your website or email is completely down, or you suspect your account has been compromised.

Medium

Something is broken or degraded, but the site is still reachable — for example one form or a slow page.

Low

Questions, how-to requests and changes that can wait for a scheduled window.

Choose the priority that reflects the real impact, so the most urgent tickets can be dealt with first.

  • High: your website or email is completely down, or you suspect your account has been compromised.
  • Medium: something is broken or degraded, but your site is still reachable. For example, one form isn't sending or a page is loading slowly.
  • Low: questions, how-to requests and changes that can be scheduled.

Priority helps us order the queue. It doesn't change the quality of help you get.

After you submit

  • Reply to the ticket email or in the client area to add information. Please keep follow-ups in the same ticket.
  • We may ask questions or request access. The ticket waits for your answer.
  • When the issue is fixed, we'll mark the ticket answered or closed. If the problem comes back, reply in the same ticket so the history stays together.

Submit a Ticket questions

Where can I see replies to my ticket?

In the client portal under Support, then My Support Tickets. You also get an email when the team replies.

How quickly will I get a reply?

We work through tickets in priority order. You'll get an email each time we reply, so you don't need to keep the client area open.

Can I request a website migration through a ticket?

Yes. After ordering hosting, open a ticket in the Support Department and include your current host's details. Ask us about website migration on SSD hosting plans, and the website migration page explains the steps.

Can I open a ticket without an account?

Yes. The ticket form asks for your name and email address if you're not logged in. Questions before you buy can also go through the contact page.

Should I open a ticket during an outage?

Check system status for any service announcement first. If nothing covers your problem, or it continues after a notice says it's fixed, open a ticket.

Have your details ready?

Choose a department and tell us what's happening.
